This position will allow the candidate exposure to all aspects of union royalty reporting. The right candidate will have the chance to learn and grow in the business of music.
Job Functions:
• Analyze music product attributes to confirm AFM union status coding is consistent with AFM agreement.
• Analyze artist contracts, royalty accounts and other data sources to set up new artists in AFTRAz data base.
• Month-end sales vs. accrual analysis
• G/L reconciliations
• Litigation and audit support
• Research inquires
• Special projects, analysis and presentations as needed
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Must be able to work independently and with team
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and SAP knowledge of One Note a plus
Experience:
• 3-5 years Royalty experience preferred
• Experience with data analysis and contracts
Education:
• Four year college degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
