A. Job Summary:

As part of the Royalties Team, the Royalty Administrator is responsible to ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound royalty publishing and license income.
B. Job Functions:
• Develop strategic marketing partnerships to create new long-term revenue streams.
• Receive publishing income generated from external uses of Capitol Christian Publishing song uses, and process through to the recording and entry in the royalty system.
• Receive license income generated from external uses of CCMG masters for both domestic and foreign uses through to the recording in the financial accounting systems.
• Process all master license and publishing income in an accurate and timely manner,
• Properly process statements received via paper and electronic files.
• Maintain license and publishing deposit log.
• Create and maintain the cross-reference database for each income source to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
• Maintain strong cross-divisional working relationship with company's publishing staff, licensing staff, international, and credit departments as well as parent company's associated entities.
• Assist outbound royalty team as needed for the various mailings and file maintenance.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
C. Job Requirements:
• Solid Excel skills
• 10 key for data entry
• High attention to detail
• Basic Math/Accounting Principle Skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication skills
• Working knowledge of Access
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Music Business degree preferred
• Royalty Accounting experience a plus
