We are currently seeking a Project Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting Information Technology (IT) projects in adherence to the global IT Project Management Office (PMO) methodologies. He/she performs service, support, and administrative functions to aid the PMO improvement and governance directives by providing process or technology solutions and training users globally on the PMO processes and tools.
The Project Manager develop tools (views, reports, dashboards, and applications) within the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) application to improve IT project transparency and delivery. He/she analyzes project status, health and deliverables to ensure compliance to the PMO processes and procedures. This individual partner closely with PMO and IT management to capture and evaluate feedback to implement improvements that mature the IT PMO project and portfolio management processes.
Job Functions:
• Lead small-med projects and/or support med-large initiatives for Infrastructure, Applications, and PMO teams.
• Manage project scope, schedule, quality, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Provide quality PMO services to all IT teams while ensuring compliance to the PMO processes.
• Perform PPM tool administration, application development, user support and training.
• Partner with functional leaders and SMEs to identify and implement process improvements.
• Regularly monitor project performance and communicate impediments affecting project health.
• Prepare project documentation such as workflows, project plans, RACI/RAID logs, and lessons learned.
• Identify and escalate project risks and impediments and define mitigation actions for same.
• Provide regular project status updates and govern changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate meetings and working sessions for improved transparency and issue resolution.
• Transform lessons learned challenges into actionable process improvements tasks.
• Lead PMO-focused activities such as Intake, Project Status or Dependency meetings and governance.
• Other duties may be assigned; no formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

• Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
• Knowledge of Daptiv, JIRA, MS-Project, or similar PPM tools.
• Experience managing or supporting Infrastructure or Application projects.
• Performs effectively as member of a team or independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicates effectively with management, peers, including technical and non-technical individuals.
• Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Familiarity with various project frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, LEAN, Kanban) a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Project Manager or PMO support role.
• Experience concurrently managing 2 projects in a matrixed or non-matrixed organization.
• Experience managing Infrastructure Operations projects a plus.
• Experience with internal and audit project management a plus.
• Background in Media and Entertainment industry preferred.
• Experience in MS Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS-Project, SharePoint, and Power Point).
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Certification in Project Management, PMP or PRINCE II a plus.
• Knowledge of the PMI-Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) a plus.
