A. Job Summary:

IGA is currently searching to fill a junior-level position in the Creative Services Department. The Production Designer will work both independently and closely with Creative Director to ensure consistency in quality of work and be able to manage multiple projects to meet timelines and due dates. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of composition, layout, color, and type, and have experience in image retouching and manipulation skills. This position requires a keen eye and strong design aesthetic. The Production Designer's role will be heavy in production with very some design responsibilities (75% Production/25% Design). Under the general supervision of the Creative Director, the Production Designer will assist in the creation of marketing collateral, both print and web, adhering to the style and aesthetic of the brand.
B. Job Functions:
Skills/Abilities:
• Clean up layouts and prep files for print.
• Crop, resize, and retouch images to ensure they meet company usage requirements.
• Create basic creative content including flyers, brochures, ads, banners, invites, web banners, etc. based
on cover art
• Create PDF presentations for marketing department.
• Monitor and manage on-going workflow to ensure timely delivery
• Meet deadlines, prioritize appropriately, and cope well with changes.
• Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a timely fashion.
• Other production related or general administrative duties as assigned.
• Create original e-single artwork and invites.
C. Job Requirements:
Experience:
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Acrobat,
and Microsoft applications
• Ability to prepare files for conventional and digital printing as well as digital use
• Highly detail-oriented and well organized
• Knowledge of image asset management with discerning creative eye
• Strong initiative and follow-through
• Ability to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines
• Ability to follow established brand guidelines
• Ability to work independently when necessary
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with multiple revisions in a fast-paced environment
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, and or at least 1 year of equivalent work experience
