Main purpose of role
To Assist the Production Department to take delivery of production masters across all Audio Visual formats, SD, HD,3D,4K for distribution in CD, DVD, Bluray, theatrical, broadcast and digital platforms
Responsibilities
include:
• Tracking and logging master tapes & HDD
• Booking audio mastering sessions for CD and Vinyl
• Taking delivery and logging all audio refs and audio masters
• CD and Vinyl QCs
• Aiding the department with DVD and Bluray QCing
• File and copy DVD screeners for all relevant departments
• Assisting with the creation of promo reels for marketing dept. creation of short clips using basic editing
• Assisting with updating production and masters schedules
• Raising Purchase orders
• Booking Couriers
• Aiding with creation of paperwork deliverables
Person Specification
• Basic experience in production or a relevant qualification
• Basic understanding of audio terminology
• Working knowledge of audio and tape formats, digital files, SD and HD
• A flexible approach to work and good attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines
• A good communicator and team player
• Well organised
• Enthusiastic and reliable
• Interested in music and the industry
