Full Time Job
To provide music searches and various marketing & sales support duties to the Sales & Marketing team.
To provide timely and accurate music searches for a wide variety of client music briefs.
Key point of contact in the office for all incoming queries including answering all phone calls.
Efficiently respond to the LIVE CHAT feature on our online system.
Advising clients on rates, licensing, music details and general matters.
Be an efficient technical support for clients with website queries.
Key person to support sales & marketing team's various requests.
Proactively promote our very high standard services to clients including our music, online system and music search service.
Research new business opportunities / clients and develop client database.
Provide various research and analysis to the sales & marketing team for targeted marketing.
Keep the database up to date.
Provide timely written weekly progress reports on client feedback including searches, releases, usage, music trends, new projects, relevant events and new contacts.
Assist in implementing all aspects of the agreed marketing strategy.
Writing album reviews for our new releases.
Compile relevant music playlists for client / agent distribution.
Contribute marketing & promotion ideas for client initiatives.
Help with organising and attending client events.
Attend all relevant departmental meetings.
Attend relevant UK trade shows.
Liaise with internal producers on client feedback.
Take specific responsibility for designated client base.

Essential
A keen interest in production music, film, TV or advertising.
Organised and have great initiative.
A genuine interest and knowledge in a wide variety of musical styles.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills including impeccable phone manner.
Must be articulate, personable, organised with an eye for detail.
A self motivator in addition to being a team player.
Proactive with an inquisitive / curious mind and very willing nature.
Further education in music for film/TV course or significant relevant experience in a music, media or music sales environment.
Strong technical background – knowledge of MAC & PC functionality.
A willingness to travel across the UK when needed.
Desirable
Experience of dealing with our clients (who include major broadcasters, advertising agencies, independent TV production companies etc.) by either having worked in production music, publishing, film, TV or a record company.
Experience in production music.
Experience in the film, TV or advertising world.
Interest in film, TV & advertising.
Interest in digital media.
A technical qualification.
A love of music.
Good sense of humour!
