Full Time Job
A. Job Summary: The Marketing & A&R Administrator for Motown Gospel provides administrative and operational support (phone, calendar, production-related tasks), document control including expense reports, travel itineraries, etc; facilitate communication externally with artists, writers, managers and production staff, and other support as required.

B. Job Functions:
• Maintain a practical and technical working knowledge of the Motown Gospel Production Schedule and Release Schedule and provide regular, accurate, weekly updates.
• Attend Motown Gospel meetings and provide agendas and support including creating and/or assisting with music, PowerPoint and other presentations as needed.
• Keep Team informed of important updates relating to artists, projects and departmental issues to ensure compliance
on all label procedures and policies.
• Coordinate travel for Motown Gospel staff and artists and maintain expense report forms for Motown Gospel staff.
• Partner with Business Affairs/Licensing as needed to produce any necessary administrative work for releases, product packaging, session contracts, payments, invoices, expenses, etc.
• Coordinate showcases for unsigned artists (i.e. set up interoffice meetings with artist, book venue for showcase, coordinate with catering, etc.).
• Administer all sales materials for distribution; i.e. snapshot's, UMG sales pages & update on international activity.
• Update radio and publicity data bases and coordinate mailings/servicing of radio singles and promotional merchandise items.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality and create an environment of trust and reliability with staff members, artists and other outside individuals so they feel their requests/needs are being addressed in a proactive and efficient manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
C. Job Requirements:
• Proven people skills and proficient in MS Office Suite, especially outlook, word, excel.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively within a fast paced environment
• Ability to carry out tasks with limited supervision and adapt to an environment where change is constant
• Bachelor's degree and/or 2-3 years of Music Industry experience preferred
