Description
Job title: Mechanical Royalty Administrator
Department: Royalties, Eagle Rock
Location of work: Wandsworth Town
Main purpose of role
• Processing North American Mechanical Royalty licences, which includes Harry Fox Agency and direct licensing with publishers
• Emailing statements and backup files to publishers
• Preparation and submission of the quarterly MCPS reporting
• Assisting with the creation of product details in Record Maestro
• Entry of new North American licences onto Record Maestro
• Entry of financial transactions onto Record Maestro
• Analysis of royalty payments
• Responding to publisher queries as they arise and liaising with the Licensing Manager
• Maintenance of MCPS information on Record Maestro
Person Specification
• An enthusiastic and ambitious individual with previous experience within the music industry
• A confident self-starter with a proactive approach
• Able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good Microsoft Office skills with a very strong knowledge of Excel
• Previous exposure to or knowledge of royalties and royalty statement processing
• Knowledge of Record Maestro would be an advantage
