This position will support the commercial partnerships with sales and marketing focusing on various accounts, including streaming, digital and physical.
Job Functions:
• Supports Capitol Labels including: Capitol Records, Virgin, Blue Note and Quality Control/Motown
• Digital Account Sales & Marketing (Streaming & Download)
• Direct Account Representation
• Manage Day to Day interaction with smaller digital accounts
• Act as #2 on large digital accounts doing the same
• Work alongside Marketing/Digital Marketing Teams to develop bespoke artist campaigns for artist at assigned accounts
• Work alongside Streaming Research Department to develop effective playlisting strategies with assigned accounts
• Independent Retail Sales & Marketing
• Support & Grow smaller Indies & Non-Direct Indies
• Manage Direct Release Solicitation with accounts
• Drive Promotional Support & Marketing Initiatives
• Manage Indie Visibility Packages
• Develop & Present Proper Representation
• Execute approved Plan
• Lifestyle Sales & Marketing
• Related Non-Direct Businesses
• Seek and create opportunities that bridge lifestyle and retail outlets
• Develop & Maintain relationships with outside companies/brands for future cross-promotion and marketing strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with tastemakers and key personnel at online, retail & lifestyle accounts to effectively market our artists to create maximum exposure.
• In Store Play/Overhead Opportunities
• Manage National Relationships (Red.net)
• Develop & Execute Direct Relationship
• Regional Artist Support
• Artist Promotional Opportunities (escort artist to account/radio)
• In Store Appearance arrangement and support throughout
• Venue support including merchandising, sales, etc.
• Provide critical marketing information to distribution and label staff on local feedback
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Strong administrative, organizational and creative skills
• Self-motivated, proactive and self-starter
• Ability to work under high pressure and speed
• Great social and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to keep information highly confidential
Experience:
• 2 years of marketing experience in the music industry
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
