A. Job Summary:

The Marketing Representative will support and collaborate with the Marketing Leadership team in the timely creation and execution of marketing plans that align with the overall vision and strategy for assigned releases which maximizes sales and exposure; reflecting strategic goals, release-specific objectives and financial guidelines.
B. Job Functions:
• Build and execute marketing plans across divisions for all artists in partnership with label group, distribution, joint venture partners and
outside vendors. Should meet all deadlines and fully execute plan in all respective areas.
• Function as liaison with Creative Dept. to ensure all marketing deadlines are met, including initiation and creation of all release materials, and marketing aids as needed.
• In collaboration with the Marketing Leadership team, manage budget for each assigned release. This includes: allocation of funds to each marketing department and distribution; continual maintenance of marketing budgets and monthly forecasting for all active projects.
• Coordinate album and single specific promotions with National Promotions team, ensuring all assets are delivered on–time and that promotions reflect album specific objectives.
• Provide support in the area of PR by delivering assets & content to Publicists as needed; work with Creative to keep Marketing team aware of and responsive to critical deadlines.
• Communicate updates for assigned releases to key stakeholders both internal and external.
• Ensure on-time delivery of all marketing assets for releases or campaigns by coordinating deadlines, video content and other marketing materials for all projects.
• Help facilitate and optimize the timely delivery of items to Distribution to meet sales, marketing and production deadlines.
• Support in all areas handling marketing responsibilities including financial reports, sales analysis, meeting minutes, legal affairs, etc.
• Develop and present key titles and priorities in gatekeeper meetings (retail, PR, etc).
• Regular pulling of data from soundscan, artist portal, and other industry sources for manager, retail, pr and other outlets to ensure consistent information flow.
• Create and keep current one-sheets for sales, promotion, etc.
• Prepare materials/visuals for team presentations (Sales Conference, Trade Events, etc.).
• Manage local media relationships.
• Work with graphic designers to create all kinds of advertising and POP materials.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
C. Job Requirements:
• Proven Project/Budget Management Skills
• Successfully write and develop marketing plans
• Develop strong professional relationships, including artist and artist managers
• Work well with others in a team environment
• Thrive professionally and creatively within fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Prefer 4-year college degree, if possible in marketing, business or equivalent
• 2-3 years marketing experience (entertainment marketing a plus)
