Full Time Job
o To provide secretarial services, telephone and administrative/support functions to and for the whole of the Business Affairs department
o Provide support to the Contract Manager when required
o Typing and amending all correspondence, agreements and documents
o Support encompassing copy typing, organising meetings and sending and distributing correspondence
o Answering the telephone and dealing with all queries where appropriate, passing on accurate messages and acting as the first point of contact for the department
o Archiving documentation and scanning contracts as appropriate
o Ordering stationery
o Maintaining and archiving filing systems
o Maintaining office equipment
o Maintaining office systems and improving such systems in consultation with the department
o Making travel arrangements
o Any other ad hoc duties that may arise

Essential
o Educated to a good standard
o Sound writing skills and knowledge of grammar
o Fast and accurate typing
o Excellent attention to detail
o Professional telephone manner
o Ability to deal with queries effectively
o Time management skills and personal organisation following tasks through to completion
o Personality/character – be a strong team player; initiative; discretion; self-motivated and flexible
o Have an interest in music and learning about legal/contractual aspects of the music industry
Desirable
o Secretarial qualification
o Shorthand/speedwriting
o Music/Music Publishing experience
o Experience working in a legal department and red-lining of agreements
