The company is fully owned by the Vivendi group (2016 turnover: €10B) and has been one of the first record company to enter the digital space as well as to develop a specific division dedicated to brands called Universal Music & Brands. This division provides tailor made entertainment marketing solutions for brands for customer acquisition & retention and currently runs more than 350 major partnerships worldwide.
We are looking to recruit a Key Account Director to join this dynamic and successful team. Reporting into the Vice President you will be responsible for managing and following up all major strategic marketing partnerships (SMP) with key partners including: performance analysis of current partnerships and project coordination. Working closely with our clients you will be supporting their needs and actively mange these key relationships as well as supporting the key stakeholders across the business and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and follow-up all major strategic marketing partnerships (SMP) with key partners including: performance analysis of current partnerships and project coordination.
• Focused on client needs: anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to meet and exceed their expectations within the organisational parameters.
• To ensure all contractual obligations are met including delivery of assets in a timely manner, from showcases to consumer competitions, from product placement to music content. Implementation to be effective in all concerned markets.
• Main current project is the daily management of the global HP account across 26 markets, with the clear objective to renew the partnership for another three years from mid-2017. Negotiation.
• Work with a team of experts (technology, Commercial Affairs, Insight, Business Affairs, Media and marketing,…) and take advantage of these expertises, recommendation and implementation of products and services.
• Be the account leader/expert to define and implement creative solutions to our brand partners: market analysis, marketing mix, PR and social media campaigns, Business modelling and reporting including P&L analysis and update.
• Prepare and run Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with all major accounts at CMO level, raising opportunities and addressing issues, agreeing with client on next objectives (and ensuring their realisations).
• Work with our partner Havas to deliver media valuation to clients (multimedia analysis, earned and paid media)
• Work with local territories (45 opcos) to understand their issues and needs on these key accounts/partnerships, delivering solutions and sharing best practices across all markets.
• Manage a team of initially three people (editorial, account, intern). Number to grow based on projects signed.
• Support the global head of New Business in his daily tasks, especially in his work in renewing the major SMPs and his target to generate new ones.

Essential
• Experience working within an international Business Development environment, with proven track record of reaching sales target, delivering large scale sponsorship, endorsement and brand related campaigns (preferably within the entertainment sector)
• Experience in Business to Business selling and marketing.
• Significant experience in key account management, ideally in a global media/advertising agency.
• Strong interest and knowledge of digital, entertainment and marketing industries
• Confident negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to short time frames
• Experience dealing with senior management within a large company
• Team player with the ability to display leadership qualities and motivate team mates.
• Excellent IT skills, including highly skilled in Powerpoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A love of music
Desirable
• Multiple languages would be valuable (French essential).
