Job Summary:
This position is responsible for various aspects of financial planning and analysis for the Capitol Music Group, based in Hollywood, CA. This person will work with other departments to ensure costs are being captured correctly, act as a liaison between finance and the Central Accounting Team, and assist with the monthly close process as well as the preparation and submission of forecasts.

Job Functions:
• Provide day to day finance support to the Capitol Music Group & Capitol Studios, including raising and monitoring POs, ensuring vendor invoices are paid in a timely way, and ensuring costs are being captured accurately
• Act as point of contact for forecasting/planning systems, for example CMG's PO system
• Work with the Central Accounting team on elements of the monthly financial close
• Assist with the preparation and submission of quarterly forecasts and annual budget
• Provide project analyses and other ad hoc analyses as required
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on an evolving workload
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel and accounting / financial applications software; SAP experience/knowledge preferred
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and effectively follow through under pressure and/or tight deadlines
Experience:
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a professional environment
Education:
• Degree qualified (specific to business, finance or accounting) or equivalent experience
