Job title: Junior Business Analyst
Responsible to: Project Manager, Global Technology
Department: Global Technology
Location of work: Hammersmith Road (St Pancras from Summer 2018)Main Purpose of Role
Responsibilities
The Junior Business Analyst will assist the senior team in gathering requirements from key business users, documenting the requirements and ensuring that the software developed meets the requirements. This extends to assisting with general & project administration, application testing and training our business teams, as directed.
Key tasks:
• Develop a sound knowledge of the business domain
• Document and agree requirements with the end users
• Provide detailed requirements in form of user stories, process flows and wire frames to enable the development to proceed with minimal analysis support
• Define User Acceptance test plans
• Assist with general & project administration
• Assist with application testing
• Assist with application training and rollout

and Qualifications
You will be enthusiastic, eager to learn and at ease with working in a team and hold sound knowledge of the music publishing business. As this is a junior role specific training will be provided as necessary but the drive & desire to work with stakeholders in a service oriented team is essential. As is the ability to quickly accelerate your own learning.
Essential:
• Prior exposure to interacting with a software development team (however gained)
• Experience interacting directly with end users (however gained)
• Desire to assist with software development and help our business teams
• Interest in becoming a key member in the software development lifecycle
• Experience of working within a team and showing initiative & leadership
• Results orientated with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Business focussed
• Self-motivated to accelerate own learning
• Good numeracy
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate discretion and ability to keep sensitive materials confidential
• Strong computer skills; MS Office particularly Powerpoint & Excel
Desirable:
• Knowledge of the music or music publishing business
