Full Time Unpaid Internship
Description
Universal Music Canada and Shed Creative Agency is proud to offer students the opportunity to gain hands on experience in the music industry through our Unpaid Internship Program commencing Summer 2017 (May to August). Today's students may be tomorrow's employees and this placement will provide interested students with the chance to work with and learn directly from music industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participation in team brainstorming and note taking in weekly department meetings
• Assisting with Shed Creative Agency and partner events
• Placing promo orders, requests for design assets, and other internal requests
• Booking department meetings
• Research and collect artist assets, artist data, and statistics for weekly meetings
• Sourcing concert tickets and sending them out to contest winners and brand partner
• Purchasing content incentives for partner promotion
• Booking travel arrangements for contest winners
• Assisting the department in day-to-day activities and ad-hoc projects
Job Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program that requires a placement
• Passion for music
• Excellent research and analytics skills.
• Basic knowledge and passion for advertising, music and brands is an asset
• Experience in graphic design (i.e. Photoshop) is an asset
• Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point)
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good organizational skills
