Full Time Unpaid Internship
Job Summary
Universal Publishing Production Music are looking for an International Marketing & Design Intern to support with the day to day marketing and design tasks. The right person will have knowledge of HTML, CSS and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). You will have experience with social media platforms and have strong writing and proofreading skills.
Based in West London, our internships are paid, full time, 12 month placements and offer an excellent opportunity for individuals who are serious, passionate and committed to pursuing a career in the music business.
Interns will get a chance to work and learn right at the heart of the most successful global music company, gain valuable experience and establish the start of their career in the industry.
As well as duties particular to the department and specific projects, some general and regular responsibilities for interns include - preparing documents for weekly / ad hoc meetings, updating & managing contact databases, raising purchase orders for costs and invoices as well as general support for the department in terms of diary management, booking transport and ordering stock & stationery.
We are looking for self motivated, hard working and enthusiastic individuals, with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. Our interns also need to be able to keep calm under pressure and prioritise their own workload. ‘Music’ experience (personal or professional) and a knowledge of working in an office environment is preferable.

main purpose of role
The main aspect of this role is to support the International Marketing department with any projects relating to the International Marketing plan. The position is to support the teams overall goal of providing a stronger marketing service & support function to International territories whilst defining a clear brand strategy for future growth.
This is starting platform for those wanting a career in creative digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist on a daily basis the Senior International Marketing Co-ordinator (SIMC), with updating all different websites from various territories with new content utilising the CMS system.
• Working with the SIMC to co-ordinate the International email calendar, social media and content calendar.
• Support the Design Manager with designing our suite of marketing collateral, including e-newsletters, advertisements, presentations, website and email banners, albums art design, and promotional items.
• Additional design projects include the expansion of a suite of email, blog and social media templates in line with brand guideline.
• Co-ordinate bi-monthly catch up with international teams.
• Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing International presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties.
• Assist the International Marketing team as needed.
• Self-initiated special projects are welcome and encouraged with approval.

Essential:
• Graphic design proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Knowledge of Basic HTML5 and CSS.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
• Experience with present-day social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
