Job Summary
main purpose of role
Reporting to the Financial Controller of UMC/UMOD, this role will be responsible for supporting the Finance team in the day-to-day operations of the department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coding and authorisation of invoices through Uniport.
Control level of unpaid invoices by liaising with departmental staff regarding any queries they may have on an invoice and encourage them not to delay in authorising.
Prepare costings on new release albums in conjunction with Finance team.
Business unit set ups in Uniport, SAP System/ R2 and BEX.
Assisting Finance team in month end reporting (e.g. journal entry preparation, turnover reporting, accruals, overheads variance reports, variance investigation, and preparation of P&L accounts).
Assisting Finance team in monthly financial forecasting process.
Liaising with Off Shore finance team.
Preparing monthly marketing reports.
Preparing monthly management booklets.
Preparing Weekly Validation reports.
General Admin and ad-hoc projects, as required.

Would suit someone who has some experience in accounting and whom has studied Accountancy and Finance or Business degree who looking to further their career in finance.
Dedicated to develop career in finance.
Desire to work in Music Industry.
Strong IT skills - Excel experience essential.
Proactive and able to work under own initiative.
Ability to work as part of team or on own.
Able to cope well under pressure and to manage own workload.
Excellent communication skills – capable of dealing with employees at all levels.
