Job title: Digital Intern
Responsible to: Head of Digital, UMC
Department: Universal Music Catalogue, UMC
Location of work: Kensington High Street
main purpose of role
To work alongside the Digital Marketing Managers to provide support and assistance to them and the wider digital team as necessary.

Essential
• Some knowledge of digital marketing & current digital music developments.
• Aptitude for technical tasks and the ability to learn quickly:
- Excellent Photoshop skills.
- Good HTML skills.
- Video production editing experience.
- Experience using/ maintaining social networking sites & streaming services (e.g. Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud).
- Good Excel skills.
- Good data analysis skills.
- Understanding of social media analytics platforms.
- Expert/regular user of a streaming platform.
• Passionate about music with a desire to work in digital and progress in the music industry.
• Self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels within the business.
• Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Flexible and able to prioritise own workload.
• Experience of working in an office environment.
Desirable
• Experience working in ‘music’ (personal or professional).
