JOB DESCRIPTION
Job title: A&R Coordination Intern
Responsible to: A&R Coordination Manager
Department: Decca
Location of work: Kensington Village
main purpose of role
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Researching and booking travel and accommodation for artists and staff.
• Sourcing and booking Recording Studios, Engineers, and Equipment Hire.
• Sourcing scores for Executive and Recording Producers.
• Organising technical checks for master tapes & hard drives verification.
• Sourcing and gathering Recording Information data / label copy.
• Inputting recording data onto repertoire system.
• Sourcing and Booking mastering sessions.
• Processing demo tape applications.
• Processing invoices using Universal’s finance system.
• Maintaining audio archive – cd masters and hard drives.
• Maintaining databases.
• Attending team meetings when required.
• Assisting A&R team with other ad hoc duties as necessary.
• Issuing musician consent forms.

Essential:
• Experience of working in an office environment - within the arts would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to be flexible and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in busy and pressured environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Professional and personable manner.
