Job Summary:
Our commitment to innovation extends to our first-class Human Resources team. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for our Hollywood Office located in the iconic Capitol Records building. This is a great opportunity to join an HR team that services one of the top record labels in the industry. Job Functions:
• Work in a fast-paced environment providing general administrative support to the HR Director. Help facilitate the implementation of HR projects and programs.
• Greet visitors and employees while serving as the frontline HR customer service representative. Field basic questions to assist employees and provide relevant updates to the HR Director for follow-up.
• Responsible for employee onboarding, including processing all new hire paperwork, hosting orientations, and ensuring all information is collected and entered accurately in HRIS system.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining organizational charts in Visio.
• Utilize HRIS systems to research issues and gather data to support HR Director and clients as appropriate.
• Prepare and process high volume of personnel actions (new hires, promotions, terminations, etc.).
• Respond to inquiries and requests from clients in a timely fashion.
• Maintain confidentiality of information to the highest degree possible.
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with staff at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment.
• Good follow through skills and the ability to see projects through completion.
• General understanding of labor laws.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to adjust easily to changing priorities.
• Enjoy being a team player.
Experience:
• 2-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred
• HRIS experience, SAP and PeopleSoft a plus
• Strong computer experience: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Visio experience a plus Education:
• Bachelor's Degree (Liberal Arts, Business or Human Resources) preferred
