Description
Job title: Film & TV Assistant – Fixed Term Contract (this is a 6 month rolling contract position)
Responsible to: Deputy Head of Licensing & Creative Services Manager
Department: Film & TV
Location of work: Fulham
Main purpose of role
• To support and assist in the approval process required for clearing all synch uses including but not limited to lyric requests, student film projects, online and low budget feature films
• To support and assist the Senior Licensing Manager with issuing sync licenses across all media as well as chasing signed licenses and payment.
• To support and assist the Creative Services Manager with tasks including but not limited to – obtaining audio files from writers and managers, building playlists and arranging meetings.
• General ad hoc duties for the licensing and creative team as and when required.
Person specification
Essential
• At least 1 year’s Music industry experience
• Team player with a flexible approach
• Excellent communication skills (including IT skills) at all levels, including good telephone manner
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to cope under pressure
• Ability to work under own initiative, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Willingness to attend gigs during evenings
Desirable
• Experience in a similar role in publishing or records
• Passion for music
