As part of the dynamic eCommerce team, the eCommerce Manager champions an innovative and inclusive culture that seeks out new opportunities to develop digital marketing strategies to grow an engaged audience/fan base to maximise engagement.
About the Role
Working closely with the wider eCommerce team, Label Marketing Managers and Artist Management, the eCommerce Manager is responsible for devising creative and engaging direct-to-consumer online retail and content strategies to drive revenue and audience growth for Universal Music’s official artist stores, developing new stores where necessary.
You will be responsible for:
• Developing appropriate branding for Universal online stores, and delivering content strategy (copy and visual) that embodies the brand;
• Database acquisition /audience building to create an engaged and active fan base/ audience for all eCommerce communication;
• Use all available channels to drive engagement of fans and customers with UMA online stores by executing captivating content strategies that promote direct engagement.
• Managing cross-channel digital marketing campaigns, from end to end including careful planning, mid-campaign analysis and adaptation as required, and post-campaign analysis.
• Driving paid marketing strategies across socials, SEM, Display and Affiliates, working to a carefully planned budget and agreed KPIs to optimise performance.
About You?
• Experience and exposure in online direct to consumer environment.
• Excellent time management and project management skills, ability to juggle many priorities at once.
• Self-starter who keeps on top of technical/ industry ecommerce developments.
• Strong understanding of SEM and ability to run campaigns using Google Adwords to agreed KPIs and budget without supervision.
• Strong understanding of SEO and ability to produce SEO-friendly content and copy for all web properties.
• Experienced in managing advertising campaigns
• Interest in music and a broad understanding of Universal Music’s catalogue.
