Description
Job title: E-Commerce Admin Assistant
Responsible to: Head of e-Commerce
Department: e-Commerce
Location of work: Kensington High Street
Main Purpose of Role
• Responsible for updating product offers across Universal Music e-Commerce websites ensuring all data (product/price/weight/dimensions) is accurate and up to date and home and product pages complete.
• Responsible for product data integrity in all e-Commerce systems, to ensure:
• New release products are published on websites in a timely manner.
• All product offer issues are dealt with efficiently.
• Accurate reporting.
• Operational efficiencies for fulfilment and customer service functions.
• Support the Label Account Managers and Label stakeholders to ensure that new stores and products are delivered in line with artist/management requirements.
• Support the Label Account Managers and Website Designer in building and delivering new stores and products using the COPE store building template.
• Support the Website designer in building banners for sites.
• Drive sales through an understanding of the needs of the business and prioritise workload accordingly e.g. Seasonality changes, urgent price changes, urgent product management, urgent data entry.
• Communicate product information to the customer service support functions when appropriate.
Person Specification
Essential
• Proven experience of working under pressure in a calm, efficient and organised manner.
• Excellent track record of working to strict deadlines and maintaining a high standard of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proven computer literacy with a logical approach to system usage.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply developed skills quickly and effectively.
• Genuine interest in the music industry.
Desirable
• Label or retail experience.
• Use of HTML5, Javascript & Photoshop
• Commercial Acumen.
