JOB OPPORTUNITY
DATE: Wednesday April 26, 2017
POSITION: Distributed Labels Coordinator, Operations
OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Distributed Labels Coordinator is the main point of contact for all Distributed Label operational requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for music and enjoy working in a key support role within a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Update and maintain Distributed Label new release production schedule.
• Oversee and assist with pre-production of locally manufactured Distributed Label new releases including acquisition of audio/artwork masters and approvals.
• Consult with Operations and Sales for inventory management of Distributed Label product.
• Input new release Distributed Label import orders.
• Assist with product updates.
• Enter and monitor stock transfers between Universal Music Canada and various business partners.
• Handle discrepancies of Distributed Label product received at distribution center.
• Coordinate Distributed Label stock requirements for venue sales and promotional needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with labels.
• Other projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• 2-3 years of previous experience in Operations/Production is a definite asset.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management is an asset.
• Excellent organization, planning and prioritizing skills.
• Attention to detail and follow-up skills are essential.
• Reliable, motivated and enthusiastic personality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
