Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and eager, execution oriented eCommerce leader to strategically oversee and manage UMG’s eCommerce merchandising and marketing initiatives. The Director will be responsible for managing activities that include strategy, marketing, pricing, optimizing, with the intention of driving eCommerce revenue. Overall activities entails overseeing the business and operational aspects of the product and merchandising for direct to consumer channels.
Job Functions:
• Manage multiple stakeholders and performance goals while problem solving and trouble shooting
• Drive and track revenue against plan
• Oversee traffic generation
• Manage marketing and media spend and initiate new strategies
• Oversee and manage strategic projects
• Manage expectations of clients and partner with labels towards same end goals
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Proven management skills (managing people, clients, projects)
• Established ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
• Extremely strong written, verbal and presentation communication aptitude
• Proven ability to execute projects to successful finish
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and realign when needed
• Solid understanding of revenue and P&L
Experience:
• 3-5 years experience in a merchandise management role with an apparel or music/entertainment merchandising organization
• Specific experience in eCommerce or consumer facing role
• Market experience with fashion, current trend merchandise
Education:
• 4 year college degree minimum
