The Digital Project Specialist will support UAT, implementation and roll out of our Digital Art Repository Tool; and, upon completion, serve as the day-to-day customer service support to our Global User base including configuring/customizing workflow features within the administrative function of the application. They will also assist with other projects and systems related to UMG's Premedia Services other functions. Premedia Services oversees all activity related to graphics including maintenance of UMG's Global Graphics Supply Chain Standards, digital uploads to internal systems, web development, upstream creative, in-house color separations studios, file transfer services, archiving, and support to our global manufacturing divisions.
The Digital Project Specialist will report to the Sr. Director of Premedia Services.
A background in Premedia/prepress, packaging production, IT support functions, and web development are desired. Further, the ability to follow through on project tasks, hit project target dates and report results up to Sr. Management, along with a strong sense of urgency is
required
.
Job Requirements:
• Strong technical aptitude in application development and data management
• In depth knowledge of CMS, web services and digital asset management
• Documented experience with Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
• Strong premedia background
• Understanding of metadata for all phases of the content lifecycle
• Experience presenting and working alongside senior executives and management
• Experienced with Excel and other office productivity tools
• Mac & PC literate
