Brand Partnerships has been a fast growing part of the business in recent times and in the last year, Universal Music Australia has set up BRING, a dedicated agency working with brands looking to leverage entertainment in their marketing activities, covering experiential, content and influencer marketing.
As the team grows we are looking to bring in a superstar commercially minded Creative Director to broaden our strategic offering to clients and allow us to create ground-breaking work in the exciting area of branded entertainment. With access to what is undoubtedly the world’s largest and most recognised music catalogue, you will relish the chance to develop and pitch amazing ideas for a variety of brands.
One moment you might be brainstorming with the label marketing teams to turn an album launch into a unique sponsorship property, the next pitching a content-led idea to a car launch media brief, the next coming up with a novel way to bring a gig to life for a beer client. The opportunities are endless!
Drawing upon experience in the agency sector, the successful candidate will also work closely on the strategy for driving growth in the business, packaging up our resources, talent access and proprietary insights in a way that best resonates with clients in a changing landscape. The candidate will be expected to roll up their sleeves and contribute to the business development process, leading pitches and applying an entrepreneurial spirit to unlocking new opportunities!

• Relevant experience, for example, as an agency Strategy/Innovation/Creative Director (Experiential/Sponsorship Activation/Content/Creative agency), An Integrated Media sales Director, Head of Integration at Media agency etc
• A demonstrable creative flair
• Proven commitment to and success in creating new business.
• Understanding of the local landscape and ideally a network of brand/agency/supplier contacts
• Passion for the art of branded entertainment
• Superior relationship, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Open-minded forward thinker who is constantly developing new ideas and concepts.
• A love for music and/or knowledge of the music industry will be advantageous
• Personable, passionate and fun person to work with dedicated to creating the best work
