Description
We are currently seeking a Coordinator in the Financial Operations group responsible for processing Vendor Master requests, which includes auditing required documentation for accuracy and communicating necessary changes to business units, vendors and offshore team.
Job Functions:
• Audit and submit manual Vendor Maintenance packets
• Assist UMG Suppliers in completing their portal registration
• Interact on a day to day basis with users across all UMG business units in US
• Train new BUs on processes/procedures for Vendor adds and Changes
• Serve as liaison between offshore AP and business units
• Maintain tracker shared with offshore Accounts Payable team
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Aptitude for interacting professionally with all levels of personnel, including label Executives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Address issues in a timely fashion and can work under time constraints
• Capacity to multi-task, prioritize and juggle competing priorities
• Must be able to keep information confidential
• Essential to be self-motivated and extremely well organized
• Strong independent problem solving and communication skills are needed to research issues and perform special projects tasks when needed
Experience:
• Excellent Excel skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Internet
• Some SAP and previous experience with Accounts Payable/Vendor Master
• 1 – 2 years of work experience in a similar role
Education:
• Some College desired
