Description
Universal Music Group is seeking a Coordinator, Consumer Engagement Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations and logistics of all UMG direct to consumer stores. The Coordinator will be the key point person for the Operations team to ensure all stores and products are set up within UMG systems. He/she will work with the Operations Managers to ensure inventory is ordered and delivered on a timely basis to meet street dates and ongoing demands.
Job Functions:
• Create and maintain all setup for products – creating product UPCs, routing details within internal resources
• Liaise with Operations Manager to coordinate buys and monitor inventory levels
• Track product delivery & communicate with warehouse to confirm inventory received in accurately. Working to reconcile any mis-shipments or late deliveries
• Monthly financial reconciliation against product sales, setup and financial reporting from third party vendors to ensure artists and labels are receiving accurate statements
• Act as point for operational tasks across the team
• Help support quality control on all store setup and campaigns, ensuring accurate copy, checkout and product setup is correct, etc.
• Assemble and distribute team communications
• Coordinate assets for D2C features in various email marketing messages
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Proactive self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong ability to anticipate and solve issues independently
• Solid understanding of music/entertainment industry, sales and financial concepts
• Experience with day-to-day ecommerce operations preferred
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Experience:
• Minimum 1 year professional experience in working with consumer engagement platforms, or ecommerce or related fields
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
