UMG is currently seeking to fill the role of Artist Royalty Clerk. In this role, you will be assisting the Domestic Artist Royalty Group. The clerk will be responsible for processing daily, weekly & monthly Excel files. They will also handle department emails and statement mailings and will use several intranet sites for various job functions.
Job Functions:
• Assist analysts in preparing artist royalty accountings
• Prepare and review departmental reports with a heavy emphasis in excel
• Responsible for sorting, organizing, keeping track of and mailing royalty statements
• Assist in researching inquiries
• Assist department with special projects as needed
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of OneNote & Word are helpful
• Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on detail orientated work
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to communicate well with analysts and management to organize and track statements
Experience:
• Prior royalty accounting preferred
Education:
• 4 year college degree preferred
