Description
Job title: Analyst, Finance Systems Support
Responsible to: Financial Controller - Central Finance
Department: UK Central Finance
Location of work: Kensington Village
Main Purpose of Role
To progress and enhance systems in order to maximise efficiencies and standardisation of financial processes, facilitating timely and accurate reporting. Partnering with the UK Recorded Music business and all local label finance teams (on and offshore) to provide training in finance systems, solving functional & reporting queries with the intention of enabling finance process improvements.
Person Specification
• Previous experience in an Analyst role, ideally with knowledge of key financial system.
• Degree in Information systems or Computer Science (or equivalent) advantageous. Basic accountancy experience is also advantageous
• Genuine interest of systems driven thinking
• Self-motivated and able to handle own workload
• Good communication skills
• Problem solving attributes
• Essential – SAP ECC6 user knowledge FI-CO and associated BW/BEx reporting skills, Advanced Excel (including VBA skills)
• Desirable – SAP Business Objects (Webi), Oracle HFM & Smartview, SAP BPC (EPM)
