A. Job Summary: The Administrator, A&R provides administrative and operational support to the A&R department and SVP of A&R by providing phone, calendar, production-related tasks and other support as required.

B. Job Functions:
• Attend and coordinate meetings by providing agendas, reports and other support as required.
• Gather and compile data for weekly ''Current Release Snapshot'' report for A&R team.
• Prepare and maintain expense report forms for the A&R Department and track them for reimbursement purposes.
• Reconcile project expenses and forecast production expenditures with the finance team.
• Coordinate travel for the A&R department and secure necessary approvals.
• Maintain up-to-date budgets, tracking al production expenses for each department.
• Assist all A&R representatives in awareness of and meeting their project dates.
• Maintain a practical and technical working knowledge of the Capitol CMG Label Group Production Schedule and Release Schedule and provide regular, accurate updates.
• Facilitate communication externally with artists, managers, writers and production personnel related to production, track recording expenses on a project-to-project basis, request payments, drive contract execution, and follow up until completed.
• Organize showcases for unsigned artists.
• Keep SVP, A&R informed of important updates relating to artists, projects, A&R staff and departmental issues to ensure compliance on all label procedures and policies.
• Work with Business Affairs to provide any necessary legal revisions.
• Stay in communication with Post Production Engineer and A&R Admin Manager on each project for music file turn-in and AFM completion respectively.
• Serve as liaison to producers, sending updated producer packs at the start of a project and complete and sense check letters to producers and artist.
• Maintain and oversee Label Group product archives.
• Be available and proactive in assisting artists' needs.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
C. Job Requirements:
• Proven people skills and proficient in MS Office Suite, especially outlook, word, excel.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively within a fast paced environment
• Ability to carry out tasks with limited supervision and adapt to an environment where change is constant
• Bachelor's degree and/or 3 to 5 years of Music Industry experience preferred
