JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to three executives (the EVP Acquisitions and two Business & Legal Affairs executives) at Universal Music Publishing Group.
• Administrative duties for three executives, including, but not limited to, preparing, copying, scanning, and mailing documents, spreadsheets and correspondence.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Schedule meetings and conference calls.
• Review, edit, and redline legal documents and correspondence.
• Assist Supervisors with song research.
• Coordinate internal communication, documentation and processes between
various departments.
• Filing and file systems development.
• Complete travel and expense reports.
• Make travel arrangements.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
• Potential to obtain in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with music
publishing industry
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Skills & Abilities:
• Proficient in Microsoft Word (including tables and red-lining), Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.
• Professional phone manner.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to keep information highly confidential.
• Ability to arrive at work on time on a daily basis.
• Highly dependable and can be relied upon to complete tasks requested by Supervisors.
Education:
• Bachelors Degree Preferred
