Description
Under The Capitol Music Group umbrella of UMG, Capitol Christian Music Group is the market leader in the field of recorded music, distribution, and music publishing. This role provides administrative and operational support to the EVP, Publishing and their Direct Reports.
Job Functions:
• Duties as Assistant to EVP, Publishing & VP, Church Resources:
• Coordinate, calendarize and prioritize all applicable meetings
• Answer phones, maintain and prioritize call log, return calls when appropriate
• Prepare and track expense reports, disbursement requests, and invoice requests
• Coordinate and schedule all domestic and foreign travel
• Gather and/or prepare materials for PowerPoint (or similar) presentations
• Maintain/Approve time-off schedule for direct reports
• Prepare correspondence as needed
• Organize Publishing based group business meetings
• Organize Publishing based special events
• Maintain good working relationships with UMG/CMG executives, assistants, and staff
• Duties as Assistant to VP, Administration, Creative Director - Church Resources, & Director, Copyrights and Royalties
• Prepare and track expense reports, disbursement requests, and invoice requests
• Coordinate and schedule all domestic and foreign travel
• Gather and/or prepare materials for PowerPoint (or similar) presentations
• Other Duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities:
• Proficient Computer Skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proactive, resourceful self-starter with superb accuracy and extremely detail-oriented
• Ability to, multi-task and prioritize
• Effective written and verbal communicator
• Work well in a team environment and take-on lead role for other administrative assistants
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and documents
Education
& Experience:
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
