General support for Sr. Director, Artist & Label Integrated Rights, East Coast Labels. Duties to include general administrative support as well as business support and special projects. Title of position will be dependent on candidate past experience and skills.
Job Functions:
Update and Distribute weekly reports to key internal personnel (tour grids, etc.)
Track and update data for a roster of artists
Document retention and ongoing management/filing of documents associated with touring activities of Integrated Rights artists across the East Coast labels' rosters, including accountings, deal memos, merchandising and show settlement sheets, tour itineraries, fan club and ticketing reports
General administrative support to Sr. Director, Artist & Label Integrated Rights, East Coast Labels
Develop and maintain key relationships with artists, managers, business managers, agents, promoters, and attorneys
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated interpersonal/relationship building skills
Solid computer skills, including competence in Excel and Powerpoint
Goal-oriented
Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
Good at relationship building and maintenance
Good budget management skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to use good discretion when needed
Experience:
At least 2 years' experience in administrative/support staff role, ideally in a music business/artist touring related role (record label, booking agency, business management, merchandising company, etc.). Finance and/or legal experience/knowledge a plus.
Education:
Minimum BA degree (4 years of college) and coursework in business/accounting/finance/law a plus
