Leading talent agency, United Talent Agency, has an opening for an Executive Assistant for the Head of its Film Business Affairs department. This is a unique opportunity for someone wishing to learn about film deal-making.
We are seeking an ambitious and hard-working candidate interested in the financing, structuring and distribution of feature films to assist the Head of Business Affairs. This is a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of the business of film and it is expected that the candidate takes the initiative to make a substantive contribution. The candidate should have a strong analytical background and be proficient in excel. In addition, the candidate should exhibit a strong passion to work on the business side of film production.
The ideal candidate should have 1 - 3 years of experience in the entertainment or legal field. Must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel. Proficiency in MS Access Program helpful.
Additional Qualifications:
• JD degree and admission to CA state bar
• Positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and highly-motivated
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to multi-task and work as an integral member of a dynamic work environment
