Based in Beverly Hills, UTA is looked for a skilled assistant to support the organization's growing IT department. This position reports to UTA's Chief Information Officer.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Administrative Assistant duties supporting a busy manager ie. high volume phones, calendar, filing, as well as travel and expenses
· Provides basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment (e.g. microcomputers, disk drives, and laser printers) and may assist with testing personal computers and peripherals on a network to diagnose, hardware versus software problems;
· Acts as a customer liaison for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns;
· Act as point of contact for current external vendors, research new vendors, set up meetings, maintain quote grid.
· Maintaining an accurate call log for both incoming and outgoing calls, following up on outstanding calls
· Create systems based PowerPoint presentations, training guides, and user manuals
· Support global IT process design and implementation, and budgeting,
· Daily interaction with global IT staff
· Special Projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· 1+ year experience in a support role (IT department preferred)
· Have a strong interest in media and business
· Experience working on a team in a fast-paced, demanding, high volume environment Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
· Bachelor's degree required
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
· Must be hardworking with a strong desire to learn
· Must be able to multitask and be able to manage conflicting priorities and have a proactive approach to problem solving
· Goal-oriented with high standards for quality, efficiency and performance
· Ability to relate and work closely with all levels of staff, management, vendors and outside personnel
· Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
· Ability to solve problems, take ownership and accountability
· Excellent customer service and follow up skills
· Maintain calm under pressure
EDUCATION
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university required
