Unified Pictures is looking for a Set Designer - Visual Development for its Animated Feature Film, The Ark And The Aardvark.
The Ark And the Aardvark follows Gilbert, an outcast aardvark, who becomes a reluctant leader of a ragtag group of misfits leading them to the mighty ark before the impending flood. The film is directed by John Stevenson (Kung-Fu Panda) and Theresa Cullen (The Lego Movie).
The Set Designer - Visual Development works closely with the Production Designer in creating the environments for the film.
- Design sets and locations.
- Create plan views and schematic drawings
- Take designs to final look.
- Design props.
Requirements:
- Previous experience designing sets, locations and props for Animated Feature Films
- Solid design skills and draftsmanship
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to work digitally (on cintiqs)
Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
