Qualifications: Talent Development Specialist Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years administrative experience
- High degree of proficiency with MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Educational Requirements:
College degree preferred or equivalent experience
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience supporting a learning and development or other HR client service function
- Event management experience
Duties: The Talent Development Specialist position is a core role within the Talent Development team providing comprehensive support and execution of Talent Development Programs and Solutions. Responsibilities include managing program materials, communications with participants and vendors, executing technical and logistical requirements and maintaining course evaluations, LMS inputs and ad hoc reporting and tracking. This position requires the ability to build strong relationships with the Talent Systems & Analytics team, MyHR shared service center and other Talent Development support personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
Talent Development Programs and Solutions Support:
- Manages program materials for Talent Development (Learning and/ or Organizational development) programs and solutions. Maintains materials inventory.
- Manages communications to participants and external trainers/ vendors as required.
- Partners with project leads to execute marketing of classes and postings to company s employee portals as required.
- Hosts New Employee Orientation on a rotation schedule.
- Provides program management for Key Programs and Solutions including administering webinars, reporting and communications.
- Liaison with internal and external trainers and key partners regarding class logistics, rosters, etc.
- Partner with team members and Talent Systems and Analytics to determine best strategic method for utilizing LMS technology.
- Oversee content on MyCareer Information Page / HR Network Talent Development page, update as required.
- Executes instructor CPE Certificates in partnership with Vendor Consultant.
- Maintains departmental sharepoint site for program materials and presentations.
- Monthly AND ad hoc evaluations reporting and analysis in partnership with Talent Systems and Analytics.
- Flexes to support large scale projects across Talent Development.
- Manages LMS inputs, enrollments, cancellations, maintaining gold standard document, resolutions and escalations, conference room management, and ad hoc reporting needs for HRGs and clients.
- Maintains Knowledge Base articles in partnership with MyHR Talent Services shared service center.
Conference Center Management:
- As a shared responsibility of all support team members, this position will provide primary conference center support for all Talent Development Employee Programs & Solutions, including program set up and breakdown, signage, including special technology needs for programs. Ensures operational readiness for all Talent Development Employee Programs & Solutions
- Provides oversight of facility reservation process and usage policies at CNN Center and Techwood
- Partners with other support personnel to ensure consistent execution of Talent Development programs and solutions.
- Partner with Executive Assistant as needed to resolve any facility issues
- Oversee Reception Area during key programs.
- Maintains Visix lobby monitors and classroom monitors
- Maintains self-service front desk support and resource guides
- Assists with targeted development offering and works with key partners for conference room reservations. Partners with internal project leads to work out any conflicts in room scheduling.
- Liaison with facilitators and event program managers (internal or external) throughout the training and event execution and provide additional support as needed to ensure success.
- Oversees upkeep on the computer labs and all conference center A/V to ensure equipment is functioning properly, log needed repairs with TTS and ensure work is completed.
- Supports established client service delivery protocols by demonstrating expected standards.
