Duties: Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. is seeking a New York-based Senior Recruiter to support Sales and Marketing. This position will provide primary support to our NY business units but will also support our sales teams nationwide (Chicago, Miami, LA, Detroit) as well as our Atlanta headquarters. This individual will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment efforts and client relationship management of all levels of positions within the business. The Sr. Recruiter will use their technical abilities (especially the use of social media ) to reach potential job seekers, and their relationship management skills to interface effectively with our internal clients and provide strategic staffing solutions in order to meet the needs of our growing business. We need someone who understands passive candidate generation and can demonstrate the skills required to tap into the local and national external markets, the media industry, and can effectively tell and position the company as an Employer of Choice. The position requires 15-20% travel due to attendance at industry conferences and recruitment support of outbound locations. The Senior Recruiter will report to the Manager of Recruiting in Atlanta but work alongside other recruiters located in NY.
Qualifications: 5-7 years successful recruiting experience in a corporate and/or agency environment is desired but equivalent experience as a professional within Sales and Marketing in a large scale organization would be considered. Must possess a solid understanding of the environment within such an organization to attract viable candidates. Must have demonstrated expertise in the following: Experience with/in recruiting and/or hiring professional level positions. Ability to utilize an ATS, Candidate Management System, and web technology to identify and track candidates is strongly desired. Must demonstrate understanding of techniques required to source passive candidates via direct sourcing and outreach, social media outlets, and to develop and utilize a strong professional network. Must possess exceptional project management abilities, strong analytical skills, reporting capabilities, and trend analysis skills. Experience in performance coaching and mentoring junior level recruiting colleagues is a plus. Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
