Qualifications: The qualifications for this position are:
-BA/BS required. Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MA, JD, PhD).
-The ideal candidate will have 15 years of progressive experience in the human resources field within global human resource organizations.
-He/She will have 5 years of significant experience leading a complex HR team and experience supporting corporate client groups. -Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in a fast paced, multi tasking, aggressive and dynamic organization along with significant influence/negotiation skills with senior level executives.
-A highly developed skill at partnering with business clients at all levels and in balancing the role as a liaison with both HR and client groups including understanding and managing the priorities of the company with the objectives of the client groups and Human Resources division.
-A creative and innovative approach to problem solving that balances the strategic goals of the company with the objectives of the client organization and solid HR practices and principles. In-depth understanding of organizational development, leadership and people development, goal alignment processes, performance management, change management, training and development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, staffing, communications, legal regulations, process re-design and employee opinion/climate surveys.
-Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong presentation skills with the ability to successfully consult and work with all roles and levels throughout the organization.
Duties: Develop critical business partner relationships to consult with regional management and their leadership teams on appropriate action regarding their human resource needs, including employee relations, performance management, succession planning, training and development, compensation, benefits, recruitment, policy and employee development.
Apply critical thinking with a bias for action in the application of progressive HR solutions to the client groups in HR generalist functions including but not limited to organizational development, change management and people development.
Influence executives and other employees as appropriate to recommend the best possible business solutions to clients and the HR team based on a deep understanding and consideration of sound HR practices, the organizational culture and needs of the individual business unit, current best practices in the HR field and the overall impact of recommendations to all constituents in the organization.
Collaborate with the management team in the development and implementation of key business initiatives to ensure proper alignment with key business goals and performance management and total rewards systems.
Plan and recommend human resources strategies to build individual and organizational capability and coordinate subject matter experts in generating solutions to client problems and requests.
Develop and maintain critical business partnering relationships with Human Resources colleagues and others.
