Duties: We are seeking an HR Director to help drive the success of one of Turner Broadcasting's leading digital businesses, Bleacher Report. Bleacher Report is the site of choice for the next generation of sports fans. Duties: Partners with key leaders on the development and implementation of key HR initiatives. Influence, coach, and advise executives in the creation of HR organizational goals and competencies that strategically align with the business. Leads HR-related integration efforts between company and parent. Plans and recommends human resources strategies to build individual and organizational capability. Identify learning solutions to support organizational initiatives. Actively drive talent management initiatives, i.e., succession planning, executive development. Educate and guide clients on performance management philosophy, process and tools. Partner with executive management, to design organizational structures that will support organizational strategy and develop and implement change management strategies to create and sustain a culture of high performance. Partner with Recruiting to develop strategic recruiting initiatives to address organizational resource issues and changes. Responsible for partnering with business unit heads to develop an employment contract renewal strategy each year. Partner with HR team members to shepherd contacts through approval process. Responsible for managing and developing direct report(s). Develops HR staff capabilities to drive organizational effectiveness and operational excellence. Ensure that staff is effectively partnering with specialists. Conduct investigations if needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; Minimum 10 years of experience in HR-related function with experience in organizational design, succession planning, employee relations, headcount/resource management, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training & policy input and/or development; 5 plus years managerial responsibility for a staff or related coaching experience required, with a demonstrated track record of building strong teams and developing professionals; Prior experience working with and influencing senior executives in a major corporation. Business related experience outside of HR a plus; experience with corporate/cultural integrations a plus; Experience in sports or technology businesses a plus; SPHR or PHR certification a plus.
