Qualifications: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant prior work experience required
- Seven (7) or more years of relevant human resources or finance experience to include experience with HR or Finance data management systems
- Prior experience working with and managing data within a personnel management system, preferably PeopleSoft and/or Workday
- Solid understanding of internal control concepts and implementation of internal control systems
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- Discretion in handling and communication of confidential information and materials
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle interruptions and inquiries in a service-orientated style
- Ability to multi-task to effectively manage high volume workload
- Previous project management experience necessary
- Ability to work in a matrix/cross functional international environment
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- Prior supervisory experience managing preferred
Duties: POSITION OVERVIEW:
This leadership position will be accountable for ensuring the accuracy, and timely reporting of personnel data within PS HCM for both domestic and international regions. In addition this position will be responsible for developing and leading the Data Operations teams in each region to ensure data accuracy and process consistency across all regions. He/she is accountable to both Finance and HR in order to ensure both organizations' needs are met with regards to Turner International personnel data sourced from PeopleSoft HCM through partnerships with Talent Services and Talent Systems & Analytics.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Global Processes & Data Management:
- Ensures personnel data integrity across all Turner regions, both domestically and internationally.
- Identifies, develops and oversees opportunities for process and system improvement to increase efficiency and improve the quality of personnel data.
- Collaborates cross-territory with Finance and HR teams in regions to ensure needs are being met by the Data Operations Team resolving any escalated issues regarding service and relationships between the Data Operations Teams and their Finance and HR colleagues.
Data Validations/Controls:
- Reviews weekly / monthly / quarterly reports to assess process timing, accuracy and efficiency and addresses concerns with each region, as needed.
- Guarantees the timely completion and ongoing compliance of all personnel data audits by the Data Operations Teams.
- Ensures compliance to SOX controls and supports any internal or external audit requests.
HR Operations Technology
- Maintains a strong understanding of the purpose and function of related HR data systems, including International Salary Planning, ePRF, Manager & Employee Self Service, etc., in order to lead the Data Operations Team and partner with Talent Systems & Analytics to ensure personnel data within those systems is aligned.
- Acts as the advocate in conjunction with representatives of Talent Systems & Analytics and the Senior Data Ops personnel in each region regarding any HR data systems enhancements or other development work in order to effectively communicate and plan for potential impacts.
Reporting:
- Partners with Senior Data Operations personnel in each region and Talent Systems & Analytics (TS&A) to lead the development of customized reporting as needed/requested by Finance and HR executives.
- Uses personnel data to analyze information, make strategic recommendations around personnel data management, and develop effective and efficient solutions to ensure Management's goals and strategies are translated into operational results.
Staff Management, Supervision, Development:
- Provides leadership and management to the Data Operations Team by providing guidance and counseling to direct reports, as needed, with regard to performance expectations and professional development to ensure staff needs for growth and development are being met.
