Purpose of the role:
Talent acquisition is a crucial aspect of the HR function in Asia Pacifc. The Talent Acquisition Manager will work closely with the HRG's and regional management team to attract and require strong talent within the region. A key focus of the position will be to increase employer brand of Turner by hiring direct and developing deep candidate intimacy. The Talent Acquisition Manager will create, develop and execute search strategies from concept to completion for administrative to management roles across Turner in Asia.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the recruitment of all positions across Turner Asia Pacific, primarily focused on Sr Manager level and below
• Develops and executes full cycle recruitment strategies
• Focuses recruitment efforts to maximize quality of candidates whilst minimizing costs through direct sourcing, industry networking, Internet search, resume database, employee referrals, and appropriate trade and industry organizations.
• Builds and develops external relationships with talent at all levels introducing top tier and diverse talent into the company prior to there being an active vacancy.
• Ensures effective advertising of vacancies to existing employees; identifying and presenting qualified internal top tier candidates for vacant positions wherever possible; ensuring constructive and timely feedback to internal candidates.
• Complies with and implements established search execution processes
including, but not limited to: Interviewing candidates face-to-face, distributing weekly status reports to hiring managers, effective kick-off meetings, updating Brass Ring and salary justifications
• Works closely with the HR & Reward to ensure accurate position management and in recommending new hire salary offers.
• Extends offers to successful candidates ensuring: appropriate business and HR sign off; offer letters and employment agreements issued on a timely basis & references obtained.
• Updates the recruitment database (Brass Ring) on a timely basis to ensure accurate reporting on statistics on time-to- fill, costs, applicant flow, candidate development and source of hire.
• Supports the businesses in the provision of quality temporary staff to ensure the highest quality service is provided to the business; sourcing top tier temp staff directly where necessary
• Provides support and guidance on recruitment issues to HR Managers in the EMEA region.Selection Criteria:
• Proven track record / solid experience of recruitment in the entertainment, FMCG or professional services sector.
• A background in an in-house recruitment function is preferred.
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry is useful but not necessary
• Demonstrable experience of recruiting admin / clerical through to manager roles across functions.
• Consummate service orientation
• Stays abreast of market trends and tracks the competition
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities
• Demonstrated ability to execute full cycle level searches
• Must be organized; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and able to anticipate future business needs
• Must have a strong business acumen
• Must be able to analyse resumes and determine appropriate matches for vacancies
• Must be able to target and source potential candidates for searches
• Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment database system, Internet, PeopleSoft or similar system, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
