Full Time Job
Working from our London head office in the heart of Soho you will be supporting the Talent Acquisition team throughout an exciting and busy period at Turner. This means it's a front row seat to the daily life of a Talent Acquisition team and an opportunity to interact with many different areas of the business such as TV programming and content creation. Whilst this is a temporary position, it's a great opportunity to learn more about how an HR team works, as well as learning about the media industry itself.
The Talent Acquisition team is part of the wider EMEA HR team and consists of a Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist. The Talent Acquisition team are critical to the success of the organisation; as the organisation continues to grow, it's essential we have the best talent to support us! The key purpose of this role is to support the attraction and selection of talent for Turner EMEA and the wider HR team where appropriate.
Please see below additional responsibilities of the role:
• Support the Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment of roles across Turner EMEA including advertising roles, screening candidates and building talent pipelines.
• Write job adverts and advertise on external websites.
• Support the shortlisting process –filter applications and conduct screening calls.
• Ensure candidates are updated at every step in the process.
• Support recruitment projects e.g. social media.
• Help manage the employee referral scheme.
• Support the annual review of preferred agencies.
• Provide general HR administrative support.
What we're looking for:
Essential:
• Prior experience in an administration or coordination focused role.
• Excellent organisation skills; must be able to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident communicator; must able to build rapport with candidates.
• Good Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
• Positive 'can do' attitude and a desire to learn.
Desirable:
• Additional European languages.
• Experience working with a recruitment database system e.g. Brassring.
• Prior experience of working within a HR or recruitment team – either agency side or internal.
• Experience of using LinkedIn to source talent.
• Experience of working within a complex, international organisation.
• Understanding of the media industry.
