Duties:
Recruitment:
Under the supervision of the HR Director, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the headcount approval process for CNN APAC and guiding hiring managers through the recruitment of temporary as well as permanent positions. This will entail establishing the sourcing, liaising with recruitment agencies; posting jobs internally and externally, scheduling interviews, interviewing candidates, putting together employment offers, conducting reference checks, coordinating visa applications and expatriate relocation arrangements. S/he will liaise with the legal department to ensure contract administration and will conduct new employee individual orientations as well as manage the administration of internships for various client groups.
Total Rewards:
Payroll and Benefits: Providing support to client groups and ensuring the eligibility of payroll and benefits with no delay and its compliance with local laws. This includes benefits enrollment and coordinating with C&B as well as the payroll team on any pay actions, status change, termination, salary change, contractual and any other documentation, benefits and HRIS administration etc Generating and preparing any related HR reports for the HR Director by using HRIS, C&B and Finance data and act as primary contact point for any employee inquiries on C&B or payroll related issues.
Performance and Talent Management:
artner with the HR Director to support employee development by working with internal and external training professionals to develop training programs/activities/learning sessions for client groups, with an understanding of succession planning, career development and coaching. Provide logistics and administration support for general training functions and activities. s/he will support the HR Director in running the annual performance management cycle starting with annual goals all the way up to the end of year performance management assessment and corresponding rewards process.
Project Management:
Facilitate any HR related new programs and initiatives as needed. Leading and managing projects as assigned by the Director. General Administration Client group personnel file maintenance and any related support.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of HR relevant experience in a generalist role gained from multinational companies/sizeable organization with regional APAC exposure
- Prior work experience handling confidential, sensitive and proprietary information
- Hands-on HRIS system support background and advanced excel skills
- Well-versed in labor law and regulations in Hong Kong, preferably with knowledge of legislation in other relevant APAC locations
- Sound job knowledge
- Good team player with a proactive approach to handle challenges/ad hoc projects
- Excellent client servicing and communication skills with the ability to deal with all level of multi-cultural employees
- Hands on project management skill
- Good analytical, problem solving skills with strong sense of responsibility
- Sound judgment and decision making
- International/regional market awareness
- Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality
- Good organizational skills with flexibility
- Presentation skill
-Well-versed PC applications
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
- Ability to work independently
- Mature, meticulous and self-motivated
- Work well under tight deadlines and in a complex matrix environment
