In this role, you will be maintaining accurate HR and talent data for all employees based in the EMEA region and ensure complete integrity and compliance to HR reporting standards. This makes you a critical enabler for the HR function, providing reliable data that can inform business decisions and HR transactions. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with the Global Talent Services and Talent Systems and Analytics teams in Atlanta, working on an international scale. The EMEA region employs circa 1200 employees in different business units and entities.
In Europe, Middle East and Africa, Turner currently broadcasts 68 channels in 23 languages to 124 countries. It is headquartered in London and operates local offices across the region.
The brand portfolio includes EMEA's number one international news brand CNN
International as well as Turner's leading kids brands, Cartoon Network – home of global hit animation series such as The Amazing World of Gumball and Boomerang, featuring timeless classics such as Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes. Recently launched truTV is available free to air in the UK and is home to shows such as RuPaul's Drag Race and America's Got Talent.
Your Responsibilities:
• You will manage and maintain all employment related data; including core employee data in PeopleSoft, benefits, equity and payroll related employment and personal employee information
• You will be responsible for executing all necessary updates within Position Management for new position requests
• You will perform data cleansing activities and audits, ad-hoc and associated with annual performance management and salary review cycles as well as more frequent bonus payment cycle
• You will be in charge of administering employee data changes according to annual salary review decisions
• You will complete monthly reconciliation and data audits of personnel data between payroll and PeopleSoft, addressing gaps and errors to ensure accuracy of record keeping
• You will work with Employee Services to ensure all payroll data points are fully completed accurately in line with payroll deadlines.
• You will provide monthly reports to Employee Services for probationary periods, contract renewals and the accurate recording of absences
• You will act as a local expert on employment related data, encouraging use of appropriate data and relevant measure in decision making
• You will resolve and research any system access issues or errors in process, escalating to global systems team as necessary
• You will work with the Global Talent Services and Talent Systems and Analytics teams in Atlanta on global projects, acting as the EMEA representativeYour Profile:
• You have experience of working in HR or a payroll environment
• You ideally have PeopleSoft or other HRIS systems experience
• You have a profound understanding of HR processes and systems
• You have excellent Excel skills and are highly numerate
• You always show highest attention to detail and accuracy
• You demonstrate integrity and can do attitude
• You always display absolute discretion and confidentiality
• You are enthusiastic and eager to work and learn with new technologies
• One additional European language written and spoken would be a plus
