Duties: The Consultant for Learning & Organizational Development plays an important role on Turner s People Development team and the larger Talent Management function within our global Human Resources division. Our goal is to provide exceptional learning and OD experiences that elevate productivity, employee engagement and retention of key talent. This specific role functions as an internal consultant, facilitator and business partner, providing a range of services to build individual, team and organizational capabilities and performance. This includes meeting regularly with HR colleagues and business unit clients on initiatives such as enhancing overall employee engagement, team effectiveness, work processes, assessments, coaching, organization redesign, and other OD and change management solutions. The consultant takes an 'embed approach to help deploy customized experiences within specific business functions while also periodically delivering company-wide open enrollment courses that engage corporate-to-creative minded employees across the enterprise. The Learning & OD Consultant also helps builid, maintain and share knowledge about the tools and resources available for HR colleagues to use as they are increasing their own skills to better engage employees.
Qualifications: Demonstatable experience in learning, OD, performance consulting or training and development, designing and delivering learning and OD solutions- including change management, coaching and assessments, development courses with employees at all levels. Moderate-to-high degree skill in facilitation is critical for success in this role.
Excellent project management skills are a must as is the demonstrable ability to collaborate well with co-workers and embody real-time adaptability to adjust to ever-changing business and environmental shifts.
Proficiency in MS office suite, especially Powerpoint.
Ability and knowledge to work various learning methods (instructor led, informal learning (e-learning, etc) and proficiency with A/V equipment. Well-versed in faciliation techniques that create exceptional learning experiences and a wide range of learning styles.
Bachelors degree required.
Masters in Adult Education, Instructional Design or OD-related field a plus.
