YOU ARE part journalist, PR specialist, creative thinker, storyteller, communication strategist, and project manager. You are an expert at taking good ideas and making them better. You are excited about becoming the editor of a publication for an industry-leading company. You are motivated by collaborating with creative thought leaders, turning their ideas into stories, and publishing them using various communication mediums. You keenly understand creative vision and how to expertly execute it through any means possible. TROIKA is seeking YOU.
Responsibilities
• Marketing & Communication
o Support the multi-channel marketing and communication plan for the company
o Create communication that is clever, engaging and memorable through written, visual and video content
o Coordinate all marketing and PR, including press announcements, articles, trade advertising, speaking opportunities, white papers, eNewsletters, industry events and seasonal topics
o Assist in the development of key communication, including company descriptions, sales and marketing content, trade advertising, and internal brand communication
o Organize photography and video assets, including coordinating staff headshots and video profiles
o Utilize analytics to measure and improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts
o Maintain an on-going marketing calendar
• Entertain Change® Platform
o Facilitate the development of the Entertain Change® manifesto into an industry-leading thought leadership platform
o Support and distribute the Entertain Change® marketing content with participating employees, or ''columnists,'' who regularly supply content
• Troika Website Communication
o Develop key communication, including company descriptions, sales and marketing content, website copy, and staff bios
o Keep website content up to date and oversee all design or structural revisions and overhauls
o Work with internal stakeholders to update website with current project case studies
• Social Media Management
o Develop, distribute, and update Troika-created content to various social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Wikipedia, etc.
o Identify and utilize pertinent emerging social media platforms
• Project Management
o Collaborate with public relations professionals, freelance publicists, writers, photographers, designers, video directors and interns, as needed
o Plan and execute company-sponsored industry events
Qualifications
• Knowledge & Skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent command of language, including strong storytelling capabilities and business acumen
o Strong interpersonal communication skills
o Intellectually curious about and possess a perspective on the evolving entertainment media landscape
o Ability to make the complex feel simple
o Proactive, self-starter, and results oriented
o Command of social media platforms
• Experience
o At least 2 years experience in PR, Communication, Marketing and/or Journalism
o Some project management experience
o Some experience working with trade and business publications within the entertainment and sports media, design/creative and marketing/branding categories, and with non-traditional marketing outlets such as social media and blog sites
• Education
o Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent experience
