Business Development Manager

This is a Full Time Job

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for helping to develop the digital strategy for the monetization of our IP -- especially by identifying ancillary digital businesses such as e-commerce, subscription, and scalable digitial content networks that can be launched off of our original IP (see our website for current shows and track record).

This is a great, potentially long-term opportunity for the right candidate, including an operational role for the business(es) that grow out of this initial planning phase. We have a great team culture and we have always been at the frontier of content creation and innovative financial models, having spent many years doing it at Reveille.

We are looking for someone who has very strong research skills and the ability to build out high-level business plans and financial models.

Our areas of particular interest include the following:
• Current state of the online advertising marketplace (with emphasis on video)
• Cost/benefit analysis of building a destination site vs more distributed models
• Cost/benefit analysis of fulfillment models vs. affiliate sales models
• Subscription commerce
• Premium content subscription models
• Big picture understanding of the state of the ecosystem and of the cutting-edge startups that are innovating in the digital content space, especially ones using technology in a smart way to deploy scalable businesses.

Requirements:
• MBA
• Lives in Los Angeles (offices are in Studio City, CA)
• Salary is negotiable.
